Cass’ story

“I wanted to stop smoking and struggled over the years to quit the habit. I started smoking when I was in high school when I was 12 years old, and this was just to fit in and make friends. This led me to become addicted to cigarettes for the next 14 years.

In the past, I hadn’t had any help. I had tried to do it alone, I didn’t believe in the patches, so I had a plan to gradually wean myself off, but I would always relapse when I was stressed.

I had 4 sessions with Victoria, and I found the sessions relaxing and empowering.”

The hypnotherapy journey

I started by doing a stop smoking hypnotherapy session with Cass. In some instances, this works straight away, and the client stops smoking, but in this case, it did not, so I moved on to regression therapy.

The regression therapy uncovered that there was a root cause of the smoking, so I refocused my hypnotherapy sessions around this. Following this, we did another hypnotherapy session to stop smoking which resulted in Cass giving up altogether.

During these sessions, I also used techniques to make sure that my client didn’t turn to something else as a replacement; for example, drinking or snacking.

Sharing wonderful feedback

I had parts therapy with Victoria, and it was such an amazing experience. It was emotional because there was a part of me that didn’t want to stop smoking and kept resisting, so Victoria really helped me discover why I was resisting stopping smoking. I learned many things about myself in that session, it allowed me to deal with the hidden emotions I had in me.

I haven’t smoked for months now, and I don’t crave nicotine! The smell of cigarettes even makes me feel ill now, and I’m so grateful to be a non-smoker, it’s saved me so much money too – Thank you so much!
